It's been so long since I updated out blog, that you probably figured that I just gave up on it! Ha!!! You were wrong. I may only update it once every 3 months now, but I am still determined to keep up with it!
Anyway, a lot has happened in the last 3 months, but I'll just give you a few updates:
Bradley:
Bradley now has 3 teeth, he is 18 pounds and is busy as can be! He has been cruising around the furniture since he was 8 months old, so things have been extraordinarily busy. He is having a strong case of separation anxiety from mom, but we are managing! He can now say mamama, dadada, bababa, yayayaya. I think he associates mamama and dadada to Scott and I, but he hasn't called us mama or dada yet! He is great sleeper.....Hallelujah...and is on a pretty good routine. However, he seems to be in a good mood regardless of how his day goes! I can't believe we are going to have to start planning his 1st birthday soon. I think he is cutting more teeth right now because his gums are swollen and I can't get him to eat solid food. This has been going on for 2 weeks now. Today I was letting the kids play together on the floor and Ella said, "Mommy...Bradley pooped in his socks". When I looked over...sure enough he had and it was everywhere. But mostly.....running down his legs onto his socks!!! You gotta love that. That's what happens when a 10 month old isn't eating solid food!
Ella:
Ella loves to be mommy's helper. Today we were going to make cookies together (she loves to help bake). When I turned around she had already unwrapped the butter, put it in the bowl and cracked the egg in to the bowl! She loves to add sprinkles to everything we bake! She is almost potty trained and would be completely trained if we had a few days in a row to stay home and focus on it. She has done this on her own and is almost there. She now has a new imaginary friend named baby monster. She told me last night that baby monster is a girl, she is blue and she cries a lot because she misses Ella. I often have to search the house for Baby monster and find her for Ella. Everything with Ella is baby this...baby that...In fact, when Ella poops on the potty she names each little piece of poop before she flushes it. There's always a mommy, daddy and baby poop! She tells the family of poop goodbye and flushes them away after she identifies each one! You never know what to expect at this age! They are always saying something funny!
Scott and I:
Scott and I are doing well! I am teaching every morning of the week and 1 evening and Scott is pretty busy as always with this job! I always look forward to the weekend when he will be around to spend more time with us! I love being a stay at home mom, but I sure do miss adult conversation!!!
Hope you are all well!
